About this event

Dr Aimie Brennan - convenor of the Pedagogy of Sociology in Professional Practice Study Group - is delighted to welcome Dr Amy Erbe Healy to talk about managing academic writing.

Dr Healy is a quantitative sociologist and acting Research Postgraduate Quality Manager in MIC, Limerick. Having previously held postdoctoral fellowships for the European Social Survey (round 8) and the Santa Marta Human Trafficking Project, Amy is an accomplished scholar with significant expertise in writing and publication.

Amy will talk about maximising the limited time academics have for writing with a view to increasing organisation, motivation and output. The event is free and open to PSPP members and non-members but places are limited. Please register to receive the Zoom link to this virtual event.

PSPP is funded by the Sociological Association of Ireland and aims to support educators who work on professional practice programmes to advance scholarship in the area. To find out more, or to join the group, please email Dr Brennan @ psppstudygroup@gmail.com
