Following on from its recent highly successful Public Lecture Series, the Carmichael Centre is delighted to announce its forthcoming series. These lectures will take place in Carmichael House (7.00pm-9.00pm) and will be on the theme ‘Reimagining Irish Civic Society’.
The lectures are FREE for the public to attend and light refreshments will be served. Each lecture is limited to 50 attendees and early booking is advised.
Senator Ivana Bacik, LLB, LLM (Lond), BL, FTCD, is the Reid Professor of Criminal Law, Criminology and Penology at Trinity College Dublin (previously held by Mary Robinson and President Mary McAleese). She is a qualified Barrister, and a Senior Lecturer and Fellow of Trinity College Dublin (elected in 2005).
Proficient in Irish, Spanish and French, Ivana has lectured widely in Europe on legal, social and human rights issues. She has been active in many human rights campaigns with a European dimension.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Street parking is available around the Carmichael Centre, however we ask attendees to use public transport where possible.

Should you not be able to attend on the evening please feel free to pass your ticket/registration onto someone else.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, that will not be necessary.
