Pilates with Sheena Kennedy

Sheena has been practicing Pilates for over twenty years and eventually moved away from a career in the visual arts to teach Pilates full time. She trained with internationally recognised Polestar Pilates and specialises in clinical and rehab Pilates. She is also trained as a yoga instructor which flavours her style of teaching with a focus on the breath, the mind body connection and alignment. Her classes will help you discover muscle groups you didn't even know existed and help you gain an understanding of and appreciation for your own body.

Emilie Conway

Emilie is an award winning vocal jazz artist, composer and lyricist. She blends her own compositions, spoken word/poetry, with improvised and composed music.

Emilie's arts practice is multi-disciplinary as she creates work through a process of singing, writing, dancing and painting. Her work focuses on 3 areas: jazz and art/literature, jazz and disability and jazz and children.

“Star of the show is Conway’s voice,” - Hot Press

“Splendid.” - The Sunday Independent

“Her own vocalese to Coltrane’s solo demonstrating her abilities to their fullest, flitting through the lyrics at a tempo most rappers would be envious of, while maintaining a bouncing melody and clarity of diction throughout.” - GoldenPlec

Millennial League

This two hander play written by Kathy Ann Murray follows two Millennials, two very different characters who formed a great friendship in their childhood. The pair depict childhood memories of the late 90s, GAA matches, growing up in a rural community, new technology; memories that anyone from this generation would relate too. It’s a fun, energetic and hugely funny piece that focuses on mental health a changing Irish identity.

Free event with Q&A

Aoife Ryan has been sentenced to three weeks in the Gaeltacht by her parents. A lonely soldier, she enters the battlefield reluctantly, but things go from bad to worse when she sees an unfriendly face from home. Now she has to deal with dancing, D4 huns and Daniel “Slugsy” Kane.

An bhféadfadh rud ar bith dul i gceart?

This bilingual English/Irish theatre is written and performed by Bláithnaid Daly.
