RCSI invites you to a panel discussion marking the launch of the RCSI Race Equality Action Plan

About this event

One of the country’s most internationally diverse universities, RCSI is the first higher education institution in Ireland to publish a race equality action plan. The plan outlines the steps the university will take to improve the representation, progression and success of students, trainees and staff from minoritised groups at RCSI.

The event will be opened by Professor Cathal Kelly, Vice Chancellor & CEO/Registrar of RCSI and followed by a panel discussion on the Race Equality Action Plan. This discussion will be facilitated by the RCSI Race Equality Forum Chairperson, Mr Emeka Okereke. The panel includes Dr Arun Verma – Head of Race Equality Charter, Dr Marian Brennan – Deputy Director Graduate Entry Medicine RCSI and Leadership representatives from RCSI’s Undergrad and Postgrad Students’ Union, Jyoti Dhawan and Carmen-Jeanette Stepek.
