The Reformation 500 conference, jointly organised by the Church of Ireland Historical Society and the Catholic Historical Society of Ireland, marks the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s initiation of the Reformation in 1517. Speakers reflect on the history of both the Protestant and Catholic Reformation movements in Europe, Britain and Ireland in the early modern period.
