Regulate & Restore

Overview

A soothing blend of guided breathwork, meditation and yoga designed to regulate, restore, and honour loved ones around the holiday season

We’re bringing together three wellness professionals to create a supportive, community-centred online event in memory of James Noonan, whose kindness, presence, and conversations about the power of breath continue to inspire this offering.

Over 90 minutes, participants will be guided through a gentle blend of breathwork, yoga-based movement, and mindfulness practices rooted in psychology. Each modality is designed to help regulate difficult emotions, soothe the nervous system, and cultivate a sense of inner steadiness during challenging times.

This gathering is for anyone navigating grief, stress, or emotional overwhelm, and for those who want to step into the new year with more grounding tools and intentional self-care. We will close by holding space for anyone who wishes to honour a loved one with a message, poem, or prayer recognising that none of us move through loss alone.

This is a donation based event, with all proceeds raised going directly to north west hospice. All donations go directly to the North West Hospice, helping fund essential services such as community care, family supports, symptom management, and comfort-focused treatment for patients in need.

Hosts:

Laura Mc Loone:

Personal trainer and Oxygen Advantage breathwork coach who teaches practical tools for stress reduction and emotional regulation. Her approach blends movement, breath, and nervous system education to help people feel grounded and resilient, while emphasising a holistic approach to health and wellness that supports both the body and mind.

Ryan Keane:

A filmmaker with a career in digital marketing, in recent years Ryan completed a HDip in Psychology and began mindfulness teacher training with the Mindfulness and Compassion Centre in Ireland. As a mindfulness teacher, his focus is on mindfulness in schools and organisations, as well as private groups, and teacher training has been a way of consolidating and deepening his personal practice of meditation which spans fifteen years.

Patrick Trautt:

Has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, originally drawn to the mat as a way to find balance amid the high intensity of a career in live music and events. His curiosity led him deeper into the practice beyond asana, completing his first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Dublin. His commitment to learning has continued ever since, with additional training and credentials in asana and pranayama across Ireland and, most recently, India.

Patrick believes that yoga, at its core, is a personal journey, a process of meeting ourselves exactly as we are. When he has the opportunity to lead classes, he strives to honour this philosophy while helping students counteract the demands of our busy modern world through fun flows, engaging postures, and nourishing pranayama.
