About this Event

Jim Wilson will be giving a fascinating talk on Edwards Bransfield, the Cork man who discovered and charted the Antarctic nearly 200 years ago. With the help of Jim's photographs, he will be bringing us on a journey through the icy tundra.

Jim is a highly respected ornithologist and ecologist, for the past 12 years he has been an Antarctic wildlife tour guide.

He has a number of published books about the wildlife in Ireland and educational DVDs. He has also co-produced a successful App called Antarctic Wildlife Guide, a photo ID guide for wildlife.
