Event description

Description

In April 2015, 351 animals were seized from a registered dog breeding establishment in Myshall, Co. Carlow. 340 dogs and 11 horses. The owners of the premises James Kavanagh and his wife Jenny Kavanagh have pled guilty to charges under Sections 11 & 12 of the Animal Health & Welfare Act 2013. On the 6th February 2019 they will be sentenced in Carlow Courthouse.

We will be holding a silent vigil for the animals that were rescued and for the all the ones that don't make it out of Irish puppy farms. We're looking for 351 people, one for each animal, who will be prepared to travel to Carlow on 6th February 2019.
