Title: Report Launch of ‘Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of the SMART Consent Workshop on Sexual Consent for Third Level Students.

Location: Jonathan Swift Theatre (Arts Block), Trinity College Dublin.

Time: 11AM-1PM, Thursday July 6th.

The seminar is hosted by the RESPECT All-Island Research Network and Professor Stephanie Holt, TCD.

Speakers include Professor Kristen Jozkowski and Professor Terry Humphreys, two of the key North American researchers that have published on sexual consent.

The seminar reports on new research findings from a randomised controlled trial of the SMART Consent Workshop, a study of integrating consent workshops in the college calendar, interviews with students on sexual consent, and surveys of over 1,000 students.

Professors Jozkowski and Humphreys will report on their research and policy recommendations from the U.S. and Canada.

Our workshops are activity-based, interactive, and support a positive sexual health promotion approach.

There will be contributions from our statutory and voluntary sector partners and from student leaders including Síona Cahill, Vice President for Equality at the Union of Students in Ireland.
