Event description
A seminar/workshop event for practitioners in Co. Clare to learn how they can use restorative practices in the workplace

About this Event

Clare Children and Young People's Services Committee, in association the Limerick Restorative Practices Project, are delighted to host a one day training and information seminar on Restorative Practices in Glor, Ennis, on 20th November 10am - 4pm

This emerging philosophy and social science deals with relationships in all their aspects, i.e. building and maintaining them, as well as looking at what to do when things go wrong and conflict arises, as it must sometimes. The seminar will be relevant to professionals from any and all areas and should also prove useful to people in their own daily lives.

It will involve a dramatic enactment of conflict and conflict resolution as part of the morning session , after lunch, there will be three parallel workshops looking at how restorative practices can be applied to education, youth and family and also in the area of workplaces and the wider community.

It is hoped that, following the day, a network of people and ideas can be created to take things on to the next step of growing and embedding restorative practices and it's philosophy throughout Clare.
