About this event
As part of the national Return to Work Recruitment Event 2022 the Department of Social Protection is hosting a Recruitment and Information event.
Focus of the Event:
To assist jobseekers, (entering or considering returning to the workforce) by bringing local support agencies, training providers and employers together for a dedicated recruitment event.
Event Format:
Attendees will be given the opportunity to meet with support services / training providers and employers on a one to one basis.
How will the event help me?
This is a valuable opportunity to gather information and gain support identifying / preparing to progress your chosen career plan. This plan could include:
• Employment (full-time/part-time)
• Return to Education – explore the many pathways
• Working with schemes based in your local area such as Community Employment Schemes.
• Work Placement Experience Programme
Meet Training Providers and Support Agencies
Local Training Providers and third level colleges along with CE supervisors ready to discuss a range of opportunities to name but a few.
Meet Employers currently recruiting.
A number of local employers will be recruiting on the day. This is the first step to meeting representatives from different companies. It allows you to find out if a role in that organisation would suit you and your skill set. The event is also your chance for you to show potential employers the skills you already have.
What do I need to bring on the day…
An up-to-date CV and your PSC card or PPS number on the day to register your attendance.
We strongly encourage you to attend in order to build your awareness of the supports available to you and to meet local employers who are currently recruiting.
