To celebrate the 100th birthday of Roald Dahl; Platform 61 on South William street are holding a Roald Dahl inspired brunch on Saturday November 5th. The Welsh born author sold over 250million books with favourites including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and the BFG which all featured some interesting and certainly quirky food delights.
There will be a selection of Dahl inspired delights at the brunch including Birgit Svenson's egg's Benedict, with a nod towards Birgit from the Witches and Farmer Bean's Egg's Florentine honouring the Fantastic Mr. Fox character.
The Cupcake bloke will be laying on a delicious chocolate cupcake even Willy Wonka would be proud of, while James and the Giant peach fans can try their peach inspired creation. There will also be two golden tickets up for grabs..
Aungier Danger will be providing some delectable donuts including the Human Bean donut, and the Despicable Lickable wallpaper flavoured donut.
Guests will be able to wash these all these down with a selection of cocktails including a Formula 86.
Tickets are now available here from 20 which include brunch, donut or cupcake and cocktail.
