About this event
Multiple Guinness world record holder, Fiona Oakes, and multiple Marathon des Sables winner, Mohamad Ahansal, combine forces to reinvent the concept of running.
The Running for Good Ultra is endeavouring to provide hope, inspiration, awareness, information, opportunity, inclusion, and motivation in tandem with positive and lasting change through the medium of running. Quite literally we are running for the good of each other, the animals, the planet, the environment and future generations - the real race is against climate change and the prize is a positive and sustainable future for all!
The virtual race starts at midnight GMT on October 24th 2021 and finishes at 11.30pm on October 31st. Runners have seven days to complete 150km, logging their runs on the dedicated Strava page. Spot prizes will be awarded, including free entry to the 2022 Running for Good Ultra in Morocco, signed copies of Fiona's book 'Running for Good', WVSport Oakes Cross Running Trainers, Running for Good Ultra tee-shirts and more. Competitors will also have access to coaching videos by Fiona Oakes and Mohamad Ahansal on the dedicated Facebook page.
