Join us for our regular Saturday Drinks and Dancing this week we are at The Stone Leaf nightclub.
Saturday drinks and dancing is, at least, a twice a month event occurring mainly on the second and forth Saturday of each month. Come along if you are free. This event allows those of us who want to socialise on a Saturday night to have a regular meeting place to spend the first few hours at or the whole night. Starts at 8pm and ends in the early hours.
Dress code: Saturday Smart/Casual.
We have music, finger food and our own private area until 11pm after which the public may join us. We can then drink, dance and party into the early hours.
Remember to come early for the best experience, if you arrive late introduction may be difficult, the finger food will be gone and you may have to pay 10euro or more at the door.
Important: Please don't forget to rsvp if you will attend.
Introductions - As we only have our own area exclusively for about 3 hours its important that you arrive as early as you can so that you get to meet/know other attendees. Many members say that they "have a great time because even after the public are mingling with us we know who is in the group" and its much easier to chat/dance and socialise with them. If you arrive late I can still point-out and introduce you to many of our group but its not as easy.
Is It your birthday or a friends birthday soon? you can come and celebrate with us or ask your organiser for a TGIF Discount card. With us we will announce your birthday and you can bring your friends along to celebrate in style. With The free TGIF card you will get 10% off birthday group meals in any Dublin branch of TGIF. TGIF is a reputed restaurant chain that is fantastic for birthday meals.
Call John on 087 3200205 if you have any problems finding us.
Keeping it real - It has become standard (in some groups) for people to rsvp and then not attend (this is what we call a 'no-show'). When you RSVP we to look forward to seeing you. So please do RSVP and if you find you can not make it please update your RSVP. If you can not attend and you can not update your RSVP then, at the very least, you should send the organiser a message.
Many groups do not mind no-shows but we do. So if possible please keep your RSVP up-to-date. Persons that are seen as multiple no-shows with no communication to the organiser, will firstly be removed from the mailing list and then subsequently the group.
p.s. I occasionally send out texts to say where we are on particular nights, please feel free to send me a text with 'Add Me Please' in it with your name and number if you want to receive this text. My number is 0873 200205.
If you have any problems please let me know via an email/message or sms 0873200205.
