Screenprinting Weekend Course

This course introduces the principles of screen-printing. Participants learn how to set up their work spaces, the basics of the medium, and how to handle printing equipment and tools. They prepare and edit photographic or hand-drawn imagery, then coat and expose a screen. Mono-printing and photo-screen stencilling techniques are covered. Experimentation with layering colour, blending, and over printing methods is also covered. Participants finish the course having created a series of prints.

Cork Printmakers reserves the right to cancel a course with insufficient enrolment, and when this occurs any and all prepaid fees are refunded. Course times and places are not transferable. Cork Printmakers does not refund fees paid by participants who subsequently cancel their place.
