About this event
The mercurial talent that is Seamus Fogarty returns to Waterford after a three year hiatus. He will be Upstairs at Phil Grimes Pub accomapnied byhis guitar, his big box of electronic tricks and instumentalist John Fogarty.. His last gig at the venue is still talked about in hushed tones, such was the quality. Seamus plays a unique brandof electronic folk, but his biggest strenght is his songwriting; and his live shows are always an evening to remember.
Irish alt-folk and electronica alchemist Seamus Fogarty released his third album A Bag Of Eyes at the end of 2020. His second album for Domino Records, it follows on from the success of 2017’s much-lauded The Curious Hand, a ‘stunning, mercurial album’ that was awarded 5/5 by The Guardian. He released his debut full-length, God Damn You Mountain, on cult Scottish label Fence Records in 2012.
