About this event
We will follow the tide out as it reveals the green slip of Seagrass, purple Sleabhac, the crunch of Bladderwrack, caught up in lengths of Kelp and Sea spaghetti... conversations flow around foraging , connecting to an ancestral activity in a modern landscape, merging traditional ecological knowledge with reimagined uses of seaweed as food, artwork and remedy…
Bring a basket and knife or scissors to gather seaweeds which we will then cook on an open fire to taste- and bring home some of the magic as the tide submerges the seaweeds again. Wear wellies or the courage to go barefoot...
