Description

The Psychology Department and Faculty of Education and Health Sciences of the University of Limerick are proud to host the Second International Conference on Housing First. The aim of this Conference is to share knowledge about research, practice, policy and activism and promote the international dissemination and sustainment of Housing First Programmes that adhere to the key ingredients of Pathways Housing First Principles and Practice.

The University of Limerick is located on a 133 hectare campus on the banks of the River Shannon. UL's campus is near Limerick City, where one can find Traditional Irish Music every night in places such as Dolan's Pub, dancing at Nancy Blake's, and delicious fish and chips at restaurants like the Locke Bar.

Limited accommodation is available on 6th July, 11th and 12th July for delegates who may wish to extend their stay, and this can be booked through the link above. Accommodation consists of stylish apartments, based in the beautiful parkland of the University and Limerick and will be shared with other Housing First Conference Delegates. Apartments normally contain six bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own ensuite (shower and toilet) facilities, with a shared living area and kitchen. Apartments are within easy walking distance of the conference facilities.

Terms & Conditions:

The closing date for registration for this conference is 5th July 2016.

Registrations cancelled more than 40 days in advance will be refunded 80% of the registration fee, Registrations cancelled less than 40 but more than 25 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fee, Registrations cancelled less than 25 days before the event will not receive a refund. This includes authors. Cancellations from authors made after a failed Visa application will be refunded the Registration Fees paid in excess of €100 only *, this covers the cost of processing the paper.

Registration Fees are payable in advance. We regret that we are unable to accept payment on arrival for this event.

Any requirements for Visa Applications will be in the form of a letter confirming the following:

1) The name that you are registered under to attend this event

2) The event title, event dates and event venue

3) That you have paid in full to attend this event
