Each pack contains enough kit to build 1 car. As you build and modify your cars, you will learn about simple circuits and forces and motion with plenty of fun along the way and an exciting race-off to finish the session.

There will be a 20 min live introduction to the workshop and then you can build and test with the use of instruction videos and downloadable notes.

Workshop packs are suitable for children aged 8 upwards and contain:

• all the bits you need to build a Fan-Powered Car• pdf files of build instruction sheets• a powerpoint presentation and video links showing the building process and explaining the science

All you will need to provide is:

• a set of scissors• sticky tape

NOTE: The Workshop kits will be posted to you prior to the event if booking is confirmed on or before Monday 22nd February – please note your address and number of workshop kits required when booking your place via Eventbrite.

For bookings completed after Monday 22nd February, the workshop kit will be required to be collected in person at IT SLIGO main reception from Tuesday 23rd February – Saturday 27th February 10am – 4pm.
