Event description
Servant leadership brings exceptional results, only exceptions to the unskilled 'command and control' norm can perform this demanding role.

About this event

This free zoom workshop will explore the fundamentals of servant leadership in a practical, highly participative way.

Servant leadership is more often written and spoken of than seen. This is entirely understandable, as it demands more from a leader than conventional, less effective methods.

"Slaves do what others want, while servants give what others need".

Bob McDonald, when CEO Proctor and Gamble

Servant leadership creates genuine positivity, retains and nurtures talent, encourages collaborative, empowered workplaces and produces measurable results from happy people - yes it is that rare!

This event will be recorded, and all in attendance will receive this within 24 hours.

In advance of the workshop you will receive a zoom link, a diagnostic and a summary of selected quotes so we are ready to work in an informed, and prepared way.

We will explore the reality not just the theory of servant leadership, and consider what this means in a workplace. How is this so different to predominant 'leadership' styles, and what measurable benefits can the servant model deliver?

"Servant leaders don't think less of themselves, they just think of themselves less".

Ken Blanchard

We will constantly ask if this is possible, because let's be straight, it is beyond most leaders, and the organisations within which they work.

If you have the will and the potential to be a true servant leader, you will know by the end of this workshop, 'though you may need to find a different organisation to perform that special role!

All who attend will be emailed a set of material for further learning and development. This will include videos, a slide pack, and selected summaries of key texts.
