What is GRAMATTA?

GRAMATTA is a informal network of amateur theologians. We meet on a regular basis in various venues to share and explore topics which are currently of interest to us.

Who can come to GRAMATTA?

Anyone! As long as you have an interest in theology and a desire to deepen your knowledge in various areas related to the Christian faith you are welcome. Although tickets are free they will be limited for each session, so make sure to sign up early if you want to make it along.

Who are the presenters?

Members of GRAMATTA who have either been asked to prepare a presentation, or have requested to make one themselves. If you have a topic that you think would fit make sure to suggest it!

How are the topics chosen?

Topics are chosen based on things which are currently being researched or studied by members. All topics will fall into one of four subject areas: biblical theology, systematic theology, church history and contemporary issues. The titles of the presentations being given at the next event will be announced two weeks before the gathering.

What should I expect when I come along?

GRAMATTA will begin with a short time to enjoy light refreshments and meet other members. This will be followed by between 2 and 4 presentations lasting either 30 or 40 minutes. This will be followed by a 15 minute discussion period, during which members can give feedback, seek clarification or add to the presentation. There will be a short break between each speaker for refreshment.
