Shining a light in the Post Truth Era

Beginning Thursday 29th April @ 14:30 and taking place over a number of weeks until 24th June 2021, LIR, the user group within HEAnet libraries will host a series of 1hour seminars on the growing issue of misinformation.

In seminar session 7, 10th June, we are delighted to have Thomas Padilla speak with us.

Thomas Padilla is Director of Information Systems and Technology Strategy at the Center for Research Libraries. Thomas has over ten years of experience developing, consulting, publishing, presenting, and teaching on responsible computational use of cultural heritage collections, digital strategy, data literacy, digital scholarship, and data curation. Thomas is Vice Chair, ACRL Research and Scholarly Environment Committee; Executive Committee Member, Association for Computers and the Humanities; Technical Advisory Board Member, Linked Infrastructure for Networked Cultural Scholarship.
