On 18th December 2019, join us to celebrate International Migrants Day. Sky, You Are Too Big our second annual event.

About this Event

On 18th December 2019, join us to celebrate International Migrants Day. In the spirit of being 'the change we want to see in the world’, we bring you Sky, You Are Too Big, our second annual event demonstrating our increasingly rich, diverse and inclusive internationalism. Join us for poetry and music of beauty, courage, connection and cultural diversity as we raise each other up, and hold out for better things. Readings will be in isiZulu, isiXhosa, Italian and Hungarian in addition to Irish & English.

Poets Maria McManus, Viviana Fiorentino, Csilla Toldy, Nandi Jola & Anesu Khanya Mtowa and musicians Jason O'Rourke and Joe Campbell-McArdle celebrate languages and cultural diversity, difference and the themes of belonging, home, fragility, dispossession, migration.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is FREE, but booking is ESSENTIAL as seating is limited.

Please, let us know of any dietary requirements (vegetarian/vegan/halal/kosher/allergens) and we will do our best to respond to these needs.
