Did you know that Sligo Sustainable Energy Community is part of a national network of community teams leading local energy projects? The Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) network is made up of a growing national movement of over 300 communities. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) are supporting these communities to learn, plan and complete energy projects to help Ireland transition to a low carbon future.

The Sligo SEC team, led by IT Sligo, have developed an Energy Master Plan (EMP) for our community. This EMP will help us to better understand how we are using energy in the community and to plan for projects to reduce our energy costs and prepare for a more sustainable future.

We are asking for your support to help us build this understanding. We need local people in homes, communities and businesses to participate in our project. If you are considering home or business energy upgrades in 2020 come along to explore the options.
