We are delighted to announce the fourth annual SLIP Ireland Student Conference!
The theme this year is "The Information Professional as author" and we have a great line-up including presentations from current students and recent graduates, not one but two panel discussions about library & archive education and professional practice as well as lots of time for tea, coffee & refreshments.

Getting to Dublin City Library & Archive
Bus: 1, 47, 56a, 77a. Access the Dublin Bus timetable.
Dart: Pearse Station, Westland Row. Access the DART timetable.
Dublin Bikes: Pearse St (no. 32), Fenian St (no. 63), Sandwith St (no. 64)
There are no parking facilities for conference attendees. On-street parking in the vicinity of the Library is limited and subject to time restraints.
Library Access
This location is wheelchair accessible, there is ramp access to the back of the Library on Erne Terrace. There are no steps between the conference venue and the bathrooms. An induction loop system for use with hearing aids is available.

How must do tickets cost?
Tickets are completely free! If you would like to help SLIP Ireland cover the costs of the event you can make a donation along with your ticket. Just choose the "Donation" ticket type.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not need to print your ticket. We will have your name at registration or you can use the Eventbrite app to show your registration, don't worry if you don't have the app - we'll have everything ready for you when you arrive. Registration begins at 11am.
Is my registration or ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you have registered for the event but cannot attend please email clare@slipireland.com to transfer your ticket to somebody else.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No, tickets are limited so you must register in advance to attend the conference. If you would like to transfer your ticket to another person please email clare@slipireland.com
I'm presenting at the conference, do I need to register for a ticket?
Yes, please choose the "General Admission" ticket option.

This event will be photographed. Images will be stored by SLIP Ireland and may be used in print publications, on the SLIP Ireland blog, shared on Facebook and Twitter or other online or print publications.
