What is Smart VET?

In the last few years Irish VET classrooms have seen the additon of Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs) which have been welcomed by enthusiastic teachers. However research has shown that due to limited time, resources and training they have largely been left under utilised.

The Smart VET project has been commissioned to remedy this by identifying good CPD practice (using IWB's) throughout Europe and transferring it to colleges in Ireland. The outcomes of Smart VET include practical, useful and accessible training materials to help teachers get the most out of their IWB's and expand their teaching skillset.

Come along to our Smart VET Conference to learn more about the project, its products and how they can benefit teachers and educators, their professional development and teaching in general. The conference will include a brief workshop on some practical and innovative uses of IWB's.

Registration commences at 10am and the conference will start at 10.15am. A complimentary lunch will be provided from 2 - 3pm.
