Soil Boy Strolls - Guided Christmas Nature Walk
By Soil Boy
Overview
Learn the folklore, nature, and past characters of the valley with hot chocolate, coffee, and tea to keep us warm on this guided nature walk
Wrap up in your cosiest gear and join us on a guided nature walk through glenasmole valley with nature educator and local Craig @feetonthesoil
We will wander through the valley, and learn about the flora and fauna of the area along with it's folklore and ancient monuments such as passage tombs and visit a 10th century church.
- As we go make sure to ask any questions, Craig is more than happy to answer any nature queries as we hike.
- We'll meet at bohernabreena north car park, and begin our trail. It is a gentle hike suitable for any level. However, it can be uneven at parts and slippy depending on weather so ensure to wear the appropriate clothing.
- Once we reach the top of the valley, we will stop into a local cafe for a warming beverage (included in ticket price) and maybe see a sheep or two. The perfect way to celebrate the winter season.
We hope to see you there!
