At the end of the course the attendees will be able to: Discuss Epilepsy and its management. Discuss the cultural effects and impact of living with Epilepsy. Identify ways to support the individual and their family. State what is required for ensuring a safe environment for the person. Discuss recognition of Epilepsy and seizures and state the appropriate First Aid. Discuss Buccal Midazolam in terms of safe administration, Medication Management and documentation. Know when to seek medical help. Define the term ‘Individual Care Plan’ and implications for safe practice for administration.

Certification: A certificate of attendance will be issued which is valid for two years
