Our coaching & yoga workshop will help you reflect on 2021 so far, soothe your mind, body & soul and move into the second half with energy.

About this event

Summer Solstice is the time to celebrate light and fresh energy. With long evenings and summer sun, our mood and energy can be lifted and so it is often an ideal time for new beginnings. Why not take some time and space for yourself to reflect on your year so far, become clear what you want to keep working with and what you may need to begin afresh.

Roisin from @roisinyogapilates will guide you through a gentle heart opening yoga flow. Heart opening yoga doesn’t just help us physically release the chest area, on an energetic level it can help us tune into and release emotions that we may be holding on to. Releasing what we no longer need helps create space for new beginnings. The practice will be gentle movement and postures, breathwork and meditation. Whether you’re new to yoga or have practiced before, you are welcome to join this practice.

Elaine from @acuppacoaching will help you reflect on 2021 so far and then coach you to refocus and leave with some energy, momentum and a plan for the second half of the year.

We are not charging for the event but are instead asking for a donation to our chosen charity, Alzheimer's Society of Ireland. We have a suggested donation of €10.


Yourself (regardless of your energy on the day!)

Comfortable clothes that you can practice yoga in

A quiet space with room to move (you may like to have some cushions, and a blanket candles for your yoga practice. A kitchen chair is can be handy to have near your mat if you need a little support for balancing postures)

A yoga mat

Notebook & pen

A cup of tea or coffee or glass of water

A laptop (or phone if needed) with the latest version of Zoom on your device

The Yoga session is perfect for:

* Everyone!

* No previous yoga experience is required, this workshop will be inclusive for all.

* If you have injuries, work within your limits, ease back or take a break when you need to. You should never feel pain in a yoga class.

* If you are pregnant please let us know in advance and make sure to listen to your body and take the practice at your own pace and to suit how you are feeling on the day.
