Some-Antics is Leicester's third best poetry night

About this event

Join us for an evening of open mic spoken word and comedy, up and coming comedian Jacob Nussey featuring and Ninja Bob playing tunes!

Bob will be playing tunes from 7pm and the poetry/comedy will start at 8pm.

As this is the Leicester Comedy Festival we strongly encourage comedians to take part in the open mic!

Of course we will have a raffle too!

10 open mic slots available, 3 mins per poet.

7ish slam slots available.

Slam Etiquette:

• Three minutes per poet

• Points deducted for going over time

• Two rounds of slam

• Original material only

• Audience judged

• Just for fun or rhyme to the death, either way bring a smile!

Organiser of Some-Antics Spoken Word: Episode XLVII

Some-Antics is a monthly Spoken Word event and Writers' Collective based in Leicester. Our aim is to give opportunities for local poets, comedians and musicians to develop, grow and perform in a friendly and welcoming environment. We have several project on including producing a magazine, book and several events with other local artists coming up. Like our Some-Antics Facebook page to keep up to date with all our projects.
