Programme Overview

This course provides learners with the key skills to develop the confidence and capacity to deliver compelling and influential presentations with confidence. The course will provide learners with a strategy for taking the focus off their nerves by being knowledgeable, well-practised and prepared. The course also focuses on understanding the audience you are presenting to and how you can prepare the right content for them and keep them engaged throughout.

Trainer Profile

Geraldine Johnston has worked as a business and training consultant across all sectors and industry types and is skilled at providing high quality, customised mentoring, coaching and training that resonates and affects positive change. Geraldine holds an Honours Degree in Business, Marketing & Communications, and a First Class Post Graduate Higher Diploma in Business Consultancy & Management and is a certified trainer.

She has worked in Business Consultancy, Training & Development since 1999. Her style is very interactive, company-focused and energetic. She is an approved business mentor and coach for a wide range of public support agencies including Honeycomb Creative Program, iOTA Program, several Educational Training Boards, and Innovation Hubs & Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Mentoring Panel. As part of Honeycomb Creative Media, Geraldine carried out start-up workshops across the BMW region and provided one to one mentoring and support to over a dozen companies during their incubation period with great results. She also carries out market research for several companies to extend their markets into new regions and to address feasibility. She works, in a consultancy capacity, for Hibernian Training as their Training Manager. Through Hibernian Training, an approved QQI provider, she offers several QQI accredited training courses.
