**POSTPONED** St. James's Hospital 2020 Physiotherapy Open Day April 8th 09:30 - 12:30

The Physiotherapy Department at St. James Hospital are happy to announce new dates for the Physiotherapy Open Day at St James's Hospital. This event will take place on ?????????????, in which 4th-6th year students are invited to attend an interactive exploration of physiotherapy in St. James's Hospital online via video call. As tickets for previous events sold out quickly, it is advised that anyone who is interested in attending, to register for the event as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

At our open day, Chartered Physiotherapists from the Department will give you a brief overview of the assessment and management of patients from their speciality and will demonstrate some assessment or treatment techniques that they use on a daily basis. Students are given the opportunity to ask questions at any stage.

Physiotherapists will speak on specialities including:

outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy,

orthopaedics,

sports,

care of the older person/stroke

respiratory/cardiorespiratory.

Burns and plastics

Haem/onc
