Startup Training. A kickstart to moving forward with with your startup. Goal is to start!

About this Event

Post Course, the host will check in with you each week for 4 weeks via phone. This is to make sure that you are moving along with your plan and taking action. He will act as your mentor for this period so make use and ask lot's of questions.

Each week will last 90 minutes with a lecture, some questions and answers and some exercises to take away. At any point, feel free to interact and ask a question.

A little bit about the host:

David Gardiner is the Senior Innovation Portfolio Manager at the Centre for Applied Data Analytics and Machine Intelligence (CeADAR). CeADAR is part funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA and is the national centre for applied data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Prior to being appointed as the Senior Innovation Portfolio Manager with CeADAR, David worked in the award winning Innovation and Knowledge Transfer office at Technological University Dublin. Whilst there, David set up and led Open Labs which created an external R&D facility for small firms, giving them access to more than 600 researchers and facilities in product prototyping, virtual reality, internet of things, data analysis for business and innovative surface coatings. David also co-founded both the virtual reality lab and rapid prototyping lab for Technological University Dublin.

David has considerable experience working with entrepreneurs and start-ups. He set up and ran Technological University Dublin’s student entrepreneurship programme, which focuses on developing TU Dublin students and alumni as entrepreneurs with the intention to create viable and sustainable businesses. David holds an MSc in Global Business, a Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accounting & Finance, Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Development, Postgraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Enterprise and has studied a Degree in Digital Technology, Design and Innovation.
