About this event

This October Stories of Change is launching the Exhibition of Kerry's local heroes working to do good things for the environment in collaboration with Iveragh Learning Landscapes. The Exhibition opening is part of a weekend of exciting workshops, talks, walks, music, exhibitions, and food.

FOOD. WORKSHOPS. MUSIC. CLIMATE CONVERSATIONS.

Stories of Change is an intergenerational creative roadshow traveling to four counties that will showcase local solutions to the climate crisis through photography, storytelling, and food. The project aims to flip the climate narrative from doom and destruction to positivity and hope and to celebrate community climate action.

Iveragh Learning Landscapes is a weekend full of walks, talks, and workshops focusing on outdoor education, place-based learning, and nature connection all while using the Iveragh Peninsula as an outdoor classroom.

Stories of Change is one of 15 projects funded by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate, and Communications. You can find out about the other successful projects at: https://www.creativeireland.gov.ie/en/blog/creative-climate-action-fund-projects-announced/
