About this event
We are delighted to be joined by Mr Cris Scotter, Human Resourcing for Health Policy Advisor for the WHO Regional Office for Europe and Prof Robert McMurry, Professor of Organisation & Management and Academic Director of the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management.
The conversation will explore how and why the World Health Organisation is concerned with human resourcing for health.
It will consider what we mean by human resourcing for health, why it matters and how it fits into the overall work of WHO.
Drawing on Cris Scotter’s expertise, the session will help us understand the similarities and differences in approach to workforce management in different national contexts as it relates to the Europe region and beyond.
We will also assess the impact that COVID has had on health workforces and lessons for the future.
