A taster session in Strength & Balance on 31st May @ 10am during the Bealtine Festival

About this event

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown are delighted to partner up with Siel Bleu to roll out this free Strength & Balance class for adults over the age of 55 years.

These are free online class takes place through zoom during the Bealtaine Festival in May. This class is designed to help people build strength in areas to improve balance issues. Using a wide range of functional exercises we will aim to teach people how to exercise at their own level and finding the balance of a safe and effective exercise.

How will it work?

Once registered through Eventbrite you will be emailed a zoom link which you can use to tune into the class at 10am on the 31st May. Cormac will be your instructor and he will guide you through a series of strengthening exercises that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

What are the benefits?

There are plenty of benefits from exercising. For starters, it’s an easy way of improving your physical health and mental well-being. Exercising regularly can be a great stress reliever and has even been shown to help combat depression.
