Once you start to notice that grand stretch in the evenings, it’s time to think about wines for the summer. Whether or not there’s any heat in the sun, this is the season to start thinking about wines to drink in the garden.
Whether you’re looking BBQ-friendly bottles or something refreshing to sip on throughout a long sunny evening, we’ve got you covered. We can’t promise you an angel’s kiss in spring, but we can guarantee the kind of vibrant and delicious flavours that got Nancy Sinatra singing about Summer Wine!
This tasting will take place in the tasting area of our HQ Store in Mullingar on Saturday 18th of June, commencing at 4pm sharp and finishing at approximately 6pm.
Tickets for the event are priced at €20 per person and can be purchased via Eventbrite, via email at shop@winesdirect.ie, or by phone on (044)939 4050. Included in the ticket price is the tutored tasting of 8 wines led by one of our wine enthusiasts, some nibbles, and a set of tasting notes. Exclusive discounts will also be offered on the wines tasted on the evening.
