About this event

As part of the Government’s Local Live Performance Programming Scheme, Wicklow County Arts Office is proud to present a Summer Songs concert with local musicians from 3pm to 6.30pm in Burnaby Park, Greystones on Sunday August 8th.

From 3:30pm, families will take a trip into the deep dark woods with The Gregory Walkers for a musical adventure combining storytelling and music in a charming performance for the young and young at heart.

And after a successful series of “Covid Care Concerts”, the Mobile Music Machine are delighted to play for a live audience again and showcase why they are some of Ireland’s leading classical musicians.

Lastly, Sonamus presents Music of Ireland - a performance of Irish Music from the last five hundred years. Sonamus combines the unique combination of instruments to create a beautiful and unique sound that allows them to showcase music that was enjoyed by all strata of Irish society from the 17th century to the present day and reflects Ireland's extraordinarily broad musical heritage.
