Climb to the summit of Moylussa with stunning views of Lough Derg far below as the sun goes down. The hike will start at Two Mile Gate carpark. The trail will follow some forestry tracks and small small trails as we gain some height. As we get closer to the top there is a short, steep climb to the board walk and then it is a straight forward walk to the summit. Depending on group pace, ability and weather we will return via Feenlea mountain or back the way we came up. This hike takes in some stunning views as the sun is seting. We will be returning to the cars in the dark so a torch is a must.

Starting Point & Time: Two Mile Gate Carpark, Killaoe, Co Clare at 18:45am
Gear: rain jacket, warm jumper, hat and gloves, food and water. Sturdy walking shoes.
Recommended to bring: a camera, a change of clothes in the car and an extra warm jumper for the top if we are waiting a few minutes for the sun to come up.
The end of the hike will be in the dark so you will need a torch. Please bring some rain gear and warm clothes for when we stop at the summit as well as a hat and gloves. You will also need a drink (water and hot drink if you have a flask) and some snacks.
The walk should take approx 4 hours depending on the group pace.
