About this event

To celebrate the launch of the PARSEEK study the Youth Mental Health lab in conjunction with YouLead are organising a series of talks for parents, teachers and youth workers about supporting young people's well-being.

This weeks webinar is a panel discussion on how to talk to a young person about how they are feeling. On the panel will be clinical psychologists Dr Tony Bates, Dr Charlotte Wilson (TCD) & Professor Gary Donohoe (NUIG). There will also be young people on the panel to give their perspective. The talk will last 35-40 minutes with an opportunity to ask questions at the end. There will be one more talk in this webinar series, see below for the link:

PARTICIPANTS NEEDED- PARSEEK STUDY

If you are a mother or a father of an adolescent we would invite you to participant in the PARSEEK study. The aim of the study is to understand how parents' perceive adolescents distress. The finding will be very important in helping to identify the kinds of information about mental health and help seeking that parents might find useful! We really value your opinion - every response counts. Your son or daughter is also welcome to get involved in this research. A link will be provided at the end of the study for this and we would very much appreciate if you could share the details with your child if they are interested in taking part!
