Sustainability Leadership

From climate change to income inequality, there are pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges that pose fundamental risks to the stability of both our planet and society. These challenges have been well documented, with growing consensus that global sustainability targets depend heavily on the decisions taken by organisational actors including employees, line managers, executives, and external stakeholders.

This seminar equips delegates with a deeper understanding of the real issues behind today’s headlines about the links between climate, nature, society, and work. We explore both the moral and strategic business arguments for sustainable organisational change, as well as the tensions that arise between short-term pressures and long-term sustainability goals. Participants will learn how different organisations approach sustainable strategies and initiatives and gain practical insights into developing the leadership skills and behaviours needed by organisational actors navigating this current era of workplace crisis and transformation.

Starting at 9am with registration and tea/coffee, the session will begin at 9:30 and will conclude at approximately 12 noon.
