Event description
The Kildare Greens hosts a discussion on sustainable transport and the particular role of electric vehicles (EVs) now and in future.

About this event

Transport is by far the largest source of energy-related CO2 emissions in Ireland. In 2018 it was responsible for 40% of emissions. It is also the sector where CO2 emissions have grown the most since the end of the recession in 2012.

The Kildare Greens will host a discussion about decarbonising our transport sector by moving to more sustainable modes of travel, and the particular role that electric vehicles will play in that move. There will be time for questions about making the right consumer decisions if you are considering a move to an EV.
