The School of Law & Criminology at Maynooth University and the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute are pleased to invite you to a symposium on ‘International Law and Global Justice: Third World Approaches and Transnational Conversations’, to be held on Friday 21 April 2023. The symposium will feature leading scholars of international law and global justice from around the world, and will address fundamental and intersecting themes of economic justice, transitional justice and environmental justice. Please register here to attend the afternoon symposium sessions from 12:00 – 5:30pm.
The symposium will be preceded by a keynote lecture from outgoing UN Special Rapporteur on Racism, Professor E. Tendayi Achiume, on ‘Race, Justice and International Law’. (For full details and a separate registration link for the morning keynote session please see here).
