ADHD Ireland are delighted to bring you an informative and engaging webinar with Dr Seonaid Anderson who will speak about how teachers can support students with Tourettes Syndrome in the classroom.
Seonaid will be joined by Lucy Toghill, the Education Manager at Tourettes Action, UK.
The aims of this webinar is:
• To increase understanding of what tics and Tourettes Syndrome (TS) is for school staff
• Raise awareness to the barriers to learning children with tics & TS may experience in school.
• Discuss some strategies that schools/teachers might find helpful to support these children.
More about Seonaid:
Seonaid is a chartered research psychologist and freelance neurodiversity consultant with many years experience in neurodevelopmental disorders. She continues to raise awareness of the treatment and management of tic disorders and is passionate about increasing accessing of patients to behavioural therapy and organises training for clinicians and therapists as well as supervision sessions.
Seonaid contributed to the updated European clinical guidelines for the treatment of Tourette syndrome (TS) and she has written widely on the subject as well as producing webinars and podcasts.
