Event description

Description

"What is the story of your social enterprise? Why is it important? How do you tell it in an impactful, meaningful, effective way? We use story every day to sell and buy and build our world. A story, when told well, can change the social narrative, it can make people listen, it can change minds.

Over two days we will unpack what makes a story meaningful, what are the important aspects of your story, and how do you prepare your mind, voice and body to tell the story in an authentic and interesting way. This is not an acting class, you will be developing your own unique speaking style " Clare Murphy

Clare Murphy is a storytelling consultant for Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA. She is a freelance consultant and trainer with the National Theatre London, the Young Vic Theatres and The Drive Project, UK. Clare’s list of clients include Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, The National Museums of Ireland, BBC Radio 4, National Museum London, National Trust, Bank of America, Jaguar Landrover, Mission Critical Team Institute, NUI Galway, Dublin City University and Central Saint Martins London.
