Telling Your Story Online : The Power of Story in Business.
How to create and share compelling conversations about your work and business online.
Storytelling for Business & Brand Narrative. #storytellingbusiness #tellingyourstoryonline
We are all stories.
We connect with each other through story-telling. It is the glue of our conversations, of our relationships. Brands and businesses have stories, back stories about their roots and origins, and the stories of the people who shape the brand and the people who use it.
We connect online through social engagement and that engagement is fed by story-telling whether through our status updates, our blogs, videos or pictures. A business today needs to understand its own story and how to tell it well in order to secure a relationship with its audience or customers. Do you think you are doing that? Do you think you know your own story and how to unpack it? Do you know the stories of your clients, customers, audiences? What content do you use to tell and share your story?
In this workshop, skilled and experienced digital media strategist Helen Shaw of Athena Media charts a digital media strategy for businesses, brands and people using story-telling tools. Knowing your own story is the beginning. Sharing it confidently and well is the key to success online in an era of digital communications. Helen will map out techniques, strategic thinking and draw on social media platforms and content creation tools using video, video and images to empower and inspire people to shape better online conversations.
Join us for this half day workshop 9.30am to 1pm to find out how to both know and tell your story online. Tea and coffee break included and the resources tools will be made available to all participants.
Helen will use case studies and examples as well as up to date research and strategic thinking in the fields of communications, psychology and marketing to build an understanding of transmedia story-telling and how it can benefit your business.
This workshop combines social media strategy for business with key tools to think about how you apply them in your work.
