Textile Journeys Festival
The festival will be a celebration of creativity and all things wool, and textile.
It includes a variety of events : summer camp, exhibition, demonstration, film screening, open studio. The festival is an invitation to everyone to try making or explore textiles. It enables people to connect to each other. The festival will launch the sharing panel- an art installation made by the facilitators which encourages participants to make textile and make our community panel.1) Summer camp
Giving children the chance to try different textile techniques each day: eco dying, felting, embroidery, lacemaking all considering upcycling and recycling.
