About this event
Following on from their much loved residency at Fred's in September, the unstoppable Andy Wilson returns with his all star cast of local musical whizz kids, but this time, with added Christmas!
Surrounded by the powerhouse rhythm section of Shane Murphy (The Shaker Hymn) on drums and R?u Dale (Elaine Malone) on bass, the twin guitars of Cian Mullane (God Alone) and Oisin Walsh Agnew (The Love Buzz) and the amazing ‘Fhablo’, aka Peter O’ Sullivan on keys (Alex Gough), Andy has decided that this is still not quite enough and is rehearsing a choir to join them for this special event (i guess that’s gonna be the added christmas bit!).
Opening the evening will be the sublime smooth sexy dance pop rock show of ‘chaotic dungaree man’ Hegra. Having thrown himself into the local music scene in 2022, the Australian native’s irresistible beats and melodies have been getting people out of their seats and onto the floor all year long and we are excited to have one last dance before the year comes to a close.
It’s been a great year for the local music community with so much happening, so many artists emerging and re-emerging and a lot of people coming out to see shows for the first time in a couple of years. Lets send the year out with a bang and get ready for more in 2023.
