Recover your creativity and yourself

About this event

( ******* UPDATE 13/03/2021 ******* When Monday morning tickets sell out, don't despair. Register for the Monday EVENING session (or drop me a line). A sudden surge of interest tonight means I am no longer hosting a whopping 7 people in one study group, but hosting 4 in two study groups - identical content, just a different day/time, to give you your best experience of The Artist's Way ;-) So I have set up a second instance of this online program, also starting Monday April 12th but in the evening (7-9pm). Please see this link for the Monday EVENING class

This course is about you and your recovery, so choose a Monday morning place or a Monday evening place. Thanks, Nicola ************************)

WHO?

Calling all creatives in training!

Join me for an 'Artist's Way' online study group to recover your creativity and start caring for yourself.

You don't need to be an artist or writer or anything else creative, all you need is Julia's book (any version) and a desire to work on your self-care.

WHAT?

Julia Cameron's 'The Artist's Way' program has been used by countless people to find the creative part of them that time, fear, or life erased.

Here's what's involved:

1 - We meet online (Zoom) to discuss the week that's been, talk about creative goals, and what small step we might take to get closer to it. We'll also do a little creative activity together, a simple collage, a drawing, some silly rhymes, only using whatever you have to hand.

Keep it simple, easy does it. We do this in 13 weeks. Week 1 is about getting to know one another, talking you through the various concepts and ideas. After week 1, we'll start reading Julia's book, one chapter a week.

2 - each week, if you can, read a chapter at home;

3 - each day, try and free-write a page or two (no experience or skill required; I will take you through this in week 1);

4 - and each week, give yourself an Artist's Date (as before, no experience or skill is required; I will take you through this in week 1).

WHERE?

We meet online on Monday mornings (10:00am GMT, Dublin, London) for 13 weeks. To allow time and space for everyone, places are limited to 4 people.

There's a LOT in this book - 12 chapters, each jammed with information, tasks, tips, and healing, so as humans (AND mid global pandemic!), we'll aim to do only what we can do.

Good enough is good enough. If you need to duck out, or miss a class, that's no problem: do make sure to come back the following week, you won't be required to catch up ;-)

HOW MUCH?

This program is free, but if you'd like to, and if you have the means, you are invited to make a small donation.

Please be sure to have a physical copy of Julia Cameron's book 'The Artist's Way', and failing that, an e-book version of same.

The Zoom link will be emailed to you a few days before.

Looking forward to working the Artist's Way with you!
