Description

Niamh Ní Lochlainn will be drawing on material from her M.Phil thesis in Irish Folklore on the Bean Feasa. This is the 2nd talk that Niamh is offering in Ennis with a completely different theme to last year. This next talk will
'Explore The Feminine World in Irish Folklore Rooted in the Cailleach/Goddess: The Midwife, The Keening Woman, The Wisewoman and Others, which I feel is a fitting topic for St Brigid's day weekend and Imbolc.

The Bean Feasa is deeply connection with the landscape and held a crucial role in the community.
